How does Procell Therapies work?
A single treatment creates hundreds of thousands of microchannels. In response to each micro-injury, an inflammatory healing process begins which initiates the formation of new collagen. Over time, the repeated healing process improves the surface texture and the overall appearance of the skin.
What skin conditions will this help with?
Microchanneling treatments can improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, acne scarring, stretch marks, and rosacea.
How long before can I expect to see results?
Though neocollagenesis (the production of new collagen) can take several weeks, it is not abnormal to notice an improvement in the quality and appearance of your skin within the first 24 hours. After 2-3 treatments a thicker more robust, collagen filled cellular matrix will produce more consistent and noticeable improvement. And 6 or more treatments may be recommended for scarring, laxity and wrinkles.
What is in the serum?
When you receive a microchanneling treatment we use a unique serum to kickstart collagen production and accelerate healing.
This amazing serum contains hundreds of growth factors & cytokines, functioning as signaling molecules from cell to cell and instructing the body to produce collagen.
These growth factors are derived from stem cells in bone marrow. The bone marrow is donated by healthy 18-24 year old athletes. From there it is taken to a lab and the stem cells are isolated. The signals that instruct the body to make collagen are then replicated and placed in a hyaluronic acid suspension which creates the serum that we use during your treatment.
There are no human, animal, or plant cells, DNA, blood, or any other foreign substances inside the serum.
The cytokines, which are used to accelerate wound healing are isolated & purified via filtration to remove all other biological materials.
The hyaluronic acid suspension and bone marrow-derived growth factors are elements that are naturally occurring in the human body. This product had been used safely and effectively for over a decade.
